We are an ethical recruitment employer and in the last 12 months, we have recruited nurses from India, UAE, Malta, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Belize and Ireland. As a trust, we consider welcoming all International Nurses in accordance with the code of practice for the International recruitment of health and social care personnel in England.

To work in the UK, all overseas trained nurses must undertake an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) to join the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.

Our offer

  • Dedicated resourcing and on-boarding team providing ongoing pastoral support, assisting you from the process of applying, through each recruitment step to your arrival as a new starter.
  • Generous re-location package, including; booking and paying for your flight to the UK, UK airport transfer, welcome hamper, single accommodation for the first three months, assistance setting up a UK bank account, collecting your BRP and much more.
  • Experienced International On-boarding Support Team providing orientation and pastoral support while settling into the UK, local area and ULHT.
  • An experienced International On-boarding Nurse Team who facilitate an exclusive on-boarding programme, providing you with training and guidance, assisting you to prepare for your OSCE, supporting you with ULHT clinical area orientation and induction
  • ULHT pay for the cost of your OSCE exam, including return transport and overnight accommodation if required.
  • Once successful and upon receiving your NMC pin, you will transition to Band 5 level, Registered Nurse.

As a newly registered nurse within ULHT, you will be enrolled onto a preceptorship programme. You will also have the opportunity for further development and career progression through support from the Clinical Education Team, Organisational Development and Talent Academy.
